【摘要】:1.1ThistestmethodcoversaprocedurefordeterminingtheinternalshearresistanceofaGeosyntheticClayLiner(GCL)ortheinterfaceshearresistancebetweentheGCLandanadjacentmaterialunderaconstantrateofdisplacementorconstantstress.1.2Thistestmethodisintendedtoindicatetheperformanceoftheselectedspecimenbyattemptingtomodelcertainfieldconditions.1.3ThistestmethodisapplicabletoallGCLs.Remoldedorundisturbedsoilsamplescanbeusedinthetestdevice.1.4Thistestmethodisnotsuitedforthedevelopmentofexactstress-strainrelationshipswithinthetestspecimenduetothenonuniformdistributionofshearingforcesanddisplacement.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
