【摘要】:Thisreportpresentsanddescribesameansofidentifyingwhereneworrevisedmanufacturingstandardsmayberequired.ItestablishesaReferenceModelforShopFloorProduction,whichisthenusedasthebasisfordevelopingamethodologyfortheidentificationandextractionofareasforstandards.TheassumptionsusedtodeveloptheReferenceModelare:*thefieldofintestisthemanufactureofdiscretepartsandinparticulartheproduction(physicalrealisation)oftheseparts,*theReferenceModelneedstobeopen-endedsothatitcanberevisedtoincorporatenewtechnologies,and*theReferenceModelneedstobegenericinnaturesothatitcanbeappliedtoawiderangeofapplicationsandisnotdirectedtoaparticularorganisationalstructureofmanufacturing.ItisemphasisedthattheReferenceModel:*providesaconceptualframeworkforunderstandingdiscretepartsmanufacturingand*canbeusedtoidentifyareasofstandardsnecessarytointegratemanufacturingsystems.TheReferenceModeldoesnothoweverprovideamethodologyfordesigning,implementing,operatingandmaintaininganyexistingorfuturemanufacturingautomationsystem.TheremaybeaneedtodevelopotherReferenceModelswhichcanbeusedforthosepurposes,perhapsbasedontheworkdescribedinthisreport.Thedevelopmentofsuchmodelsisbeyondthescopeofthistechnicalreport.
