【摘要】:Describesthreemethods(theoctave-band,HMLandSNRmethods)forestimatingtheA-weightedsoundpressurelevelseffectivewhenhearingprotectorsareworn.Themethodsareapplicabletoeitherthesoundpressurelevelortheequivalentcontinuoussoundpressurelevelofthenoise.Althoughprimarilyintendedforsteadynoiseexposures,themethodsarealsoapplicabletonoisescontainingimpulsivecomponents.Theyarenotsuitableforusewithpeaksoundpressurelevelmeasurements.
