【摘要】:Theperformancecharacteristicsofadrainagegeosyntheticaredirectlyrelatedtotheintegrityundercompressiveloading.Iftheproductissensitivetocompressivecreep,itsflowcapacitycouldbegreatlyreducedorevenshutoffcompletely.Thecreepsensitivityofacandidategeosyntheticcanbetestedatfield-simulatednormalstressandpotentiallyshearstresses.Thistestmethoddoesnotevaluatetheeffectofcreepofageotextilefilteroradjacentmembrane.Compressioncreepasitrelatestoreductioninflowcapacityofageosyntheticdrainageproductismanufacturerandproductspecific.Forexample,a10%reductioninoriginalthicknessofageonetmadebymanufacturerAdoesnotnecessarilyequalthesamereductioninflowcapacityasa10%reductioninthicknessofthesameoranothertypeofgeonetmadebymanufacturerB.Thiscreepdatahasismeritdirectlytotheenduser,becauseitcanbeeasilyinterpretedtoresultintoareductionfactorforcreep.TheReductionfactorcanthenbeusedtoderiveanallowableflowrate.1.1Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheunconfinedcompressivecreepcharacteristicsofdrainagegeotextiles,geocomposites,geonets,oranyothergeosyntheticassociatedwithdrainageataconstanttemperature,whensubjectedtoaconstantcompressivestress.1.2Thistestmethodisintendedforuseasanunconfinedcompressiveperformancecreeptestonly.ForadetailedprocedureonhowtoestablishanindextestseetheENstandard1897.Forperformancetests,thespecimenshallbesubjectedtothesite-specificliquidand/orthesite-specificstress(normalandpotentiallyshearstress).Note18212;Resultsachievedfromunconfinedcompressiveperformancecreepmaydifferfromtestingperformedunderconfinedconditions.1.3Becauseofthechangingnatureofthegeosyntheticindustry,andthewidevarietyofproductsalreadyavailable,thisparticulartestmethodmayhavetobeslightlymodifiedforunconfinedcompressioncreeptestingofsomeproducts..1.4ThevaluesgiveninSIunitsaretobeconsideredasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.ThisstandardcoversthespecificproceduresandtestconditionsthatareapplicableforexposureofunreinforcedpolyolefingeomembranestofluorescentUVradiationandcondensation.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
