【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddefinesascenedescriptionformat(LASeR)andanaggregationformat(SAF)respectivelysuitableforrepresentinganddeliveringrich-mediaservicestoresource-constraineddevicessuchasmobilephones.LASeRaimsatfulfillingalltherequirementsofrich-mediaservicesatthescenedescriptionlevel.LASeRsupports:-anoptimizedsetofobjectsinheritedfromSVGtodescriberich-mediascenes;-asmallsetofkeycompatibleextensionsoverSVG;-theabilitytoencodeandtransmitaLASeRstreamandthenreconstructSVGcontent;-dynamicupdatingofthescenetoachieveareactive,smoothandcontinuousservice;-simpleyetefficientcompressiontoimprovedeliveryandparsingtimes,aswellasstoragesize,oneofthedesigngoalsbeingtoallowbothforadirectimplementationoftheSDLasdocumented,aswellasforadecodercompliantwithISO/IEC23001-1todecodetheLASeRbitstream;-anefficientinterfacewithaudioandvisualstreamswithframe-accuratesynchronization;-useofanyfontformat,includingtheOpenTypeindustrystandard;and-easyconversionfromotherpopularrich-mediaformatsinordertoleverageexistingcontentanddevelopercommunities.TechnologyselectioncriteriaforLASeRincludedcompressionefficiency,butalsocodeandmemoryfootprintandperformance.Otheraimsincluded:scalability,adaptabilitytotheusercontext,extensibilityoftheformat,abilitytodefinesmallprofiles,feasibilityofaJ2MEimplementation,errorresilienceandsafetyofimplementations.SAFaimsatfulfillingalltherequirementsofrich-mediaservicesattheinterfacebetweenmedia/scenedescriptionandexistingtransportprotocols:-simpleaggregationofanytypeofstream;-signalingofMPEGandnon-MPEGstreams;-optimizedpacketheadersforbandwidth-limitednetworks;-easymappingtopopularstreamingformats;-cachemanagementcapability;and-extensibility.SAFhasbeendesignedtocomplementLASeRforsimple,interactiveservices,bringing:-efficientanddynamicpackagingtocopewithhighlatencynetworks;-mediainterleaving;and-synchronizationsupportwithaverylowoverhead.ThisInternationalStandarddefinestheusageofSAFforLASeRcontent.However,LASeRcanbeusedindependentlyfromSAF.
