【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetotalvaporpressureofair-containing,volatile,petroleumproducts.Thistestmethodissuitablefortestingsampleswithboilingpointsabove0?C(32?F)thatexertavaporpressurebetween7and172kPa(1and25psi)at37.8`C(100?F)atavapor-to-liquidratioof4:1.Thistestmethodissuitablefortestinggasolinesamplesthatcontainoxygenates.Noaccountismadeofdissolvedwaterinthesample.Somegasoline-oxygenateblendsmayshowahazewhencooledto0to1`C.Ifahazeisobservedin8.5,itshallbeindicatedinthereportingofresults.Theprecisionandbiasstatementsforhazysampleshavenotbeendetermined(seeNote8).Thistestmethodissuitableforthecalculationofadryvaporpressureequivalent(DVPE)bymeansofacorrelationequation(see13.1).ThecalculatedDVPEverycloselyapproximatesthedryvaporpressurethatwouldbeobtainedonthesamematerialwhentestedinaccordancewithTestMethodD4953.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,see7.3through7.5and9.2.
